Queen Mary in Long Beach
This is the room from our bed in the morning
We got up and ate breakfast at the Promenade Cafe.  The food we had at the two restaurants (the lower end ones available on the ship) was adequate but not really great.  It was really disappointing as it hadn't been long since we'd been on the QE2.  We were hoping to relive a little part of that experience, but QE2 is so much better maintained and the treatment is so five star that it didn't really compare.  I suppose we should have eaten at the high end grills on board.

Then it was time for shopping on the promenade and more exploring.  We didn't really have time for the tour.  I'm looking forward to doing that soon and having a comprehensive
QM report.
