Enoch Tolly
(????-1981)
Enoch Tolly was played by Neil McCarthy.
Neil had previosly played a farmer
in the childrens programme Catweazel.
Enoch was a very strict and god fearing man, and had a reputation
for being very cantankerous. He was very proud and even though
his farm was in dire straits he would except no help from
anyone. Enoch was killed in 1981 when his old and unsafe
tractor hit
a bump in the ground, flipped up and fell on top of him
