Elder Daughter of Rodney and his 1st wife Diane half-sister of Nicola Blackstock Born: 29 December 1968. (In June 2002 Diane said her daughter was aged thirty-three The official books now give the date.) Married 1st Anthony Binns Married 2nd 24 December 2000, divorced 2002 Rev. Ashley Thomas Bernice had a brief ill-fated engagement to Gavin Ferris in 1999 but he turned out to have cheated on her with both men and women. Mother of Gabrielle b. 25 December 2001 A second daughter Diane was born to Bernice on the 21st September 2004 offscreen. "Little Diane's" father is someone called Charlie but the viewers no nothing about him. Bernice has a half-brother Paul Lambert! According to "30 Years of Emmerdale" she had a 1st cousin called Paul however it has turned out that he is in fact her half-brother. It is not known if Bernice knows this yet. Paul had previously been briefly mentioned in the series around 2000. He lived in Italy. A storyline even involved Bernice going to visit him on holiday. Recently Paul has been mentioned quite a lot since his mother Val (Bernice's aunt) arrived in the series in February 2004. Paul Lambert finally arrived on the 10th September 2004 and on the 20th September 2004 Val revealed to Diane that Rodney was his father.
