MY MY MY it’s DELILAH… DINGLE

Emmerdale are pleased to introduce the latest edition to the Dingle clan and promise that the stunning Delilah Dingle played by Hayley Tamaddon, will turn up the heat on the ITV1 show.

Sexy Delilah Dingle will explode onto screens on Friday 15 July at 7pm wearing a wedding dress and leaving a trail of devastation behind her, having jilted her fiancé at the alter.

Although business savvy, Delilah still has the usual Dingle trait of finding herself in impossible situations and often has her head in the clouds when it comes to affairs of the heart. Although initially cautious, Zak (Steve Halliwell) is happy to welcome her into the fold once he sees the unwanted wedding presents in the boot of her car!

Hayley Tamaddon, 28, has previously appeared in the ITV1 dramas The Royal and Where the Heart Is in addition to numerous theatre roles including Frenchie in Grease and Diana Morales in A Chorus Line. She says “I’m really excited to be playing Delilah. She is an ambitious and impulsive character and I can’t wait to see what she will be getting up to.”

Kath Beedles, Series Producer says “Delilah is the 30th Dingle to arrive in Emmerdale. She is no shrinking violet and has a habit of engaging her mouth before her brain so is sure to get into hot water very soon.’’
