Tricia is devastated as Charityís presence provides a
constant reminder of Marlonís infidelity.
Unable to see a way to salvage her marriage, she sees
no alternative but to cut her losses and leave the village
for good. However, Marlon canít bear to live without
her and vows to do anything to make her stay, including
sending her a rose for every hour of the day.
Steph attempts to get her daughter to reconsider but
fails when she accidentally lets it slip that she made
a pass at Marlon on his stag do. Furious, Tricia canít
believe her ears and lashes out at her mother.
Devastated by Gloriaís absence, Pollard confesses to
Edna that he wishes he had taken his wife back despite
her fling with Hillary and breaks down in tears.
Later the police visit Pollard to tell him that a young
man has used Gloriaís credit card in Aberdeen. Pollard
is shown CCTV footage but doesnít recognise the man and
his fears for his wife grow.
Andy and Katie arrive back in the village and Jack invites
them over for dinner, reluctantly Katie agrees, but the
tension is rife between her and Robert. Katie keeps her
distance from him despite his constant comments that
the affair isnít over.
Chas is furious when Gordon turns up to take Aaron home,
especially when he claims that Aaron called and asked
to be collected. As Aaron leaves, clearly delighted to
be escaping his mum, Chas is devastated by his obvious
dislike of her.
