Review
Passions flare when Charity discovers that Chris has put Cain's life in danger. Scott gets proof he's Jean's father and reveals it to a furious Chris. Sparks fly when Robert takes Elaine for a driving lesson.

Are Cain and Charity about to give in to temptation while Debbie watches.

Worried about Chris’s increasingly erratic behaviour, Terry reveals to Charity his suspicions about Chris’s involvement with the garage fire and about his previous plan to have Cain Dingle beaten to a pulp.

With Chris on the warpath, Charity fears for Cain and Debbie’s safety as she frantically searches for them. But her frustration turns to fury when she finds them safe and sound and Cain mocks her for her concern.

But their heated argument turns to passion, as the once young lovers revisit old feelings and fall into each other’s arms.

Little do they know their lingering kiss has been witnessed by Debbie who is now convinced that they will reunite.

Scott learns his rights when the DNA results prove he is definitely Jean’s father. But, homeless and out of work, the prospect of lengthy legal battles to get custody over the wealthy Tates seem daunting.

Meanwhile at the Dingles, Shadrach is up to his usual tricks and is still trying to win Lisa’s affection. Unbeknown to Lisa he has been hiding all Zak’s letters hinting that he must have found someone else, giving Lisa cause for concern.

Elsewhere in the village, Laurel hopes she’ll get lucky as she enters a holiday competition under multiple guises.

It’s the aftermath of the garage fire with both Terry and Scott on the warpath. When Terry bumps into Charity he’s quick to let slip that the arson was on Chris’s orders. Charity is further stunned to learn that Terry stalked her and that Chris is in the process of arranging for Cain to be beaten to a pulp.

Charity is shocked to discover how low Chris will stoop to get back at his enemies

Confronting Chris over his dastardly plans Charity is sickened to hear that Cain shouldn’t be able to walk again after the thugs have finished with him. Unable to locate Cain and Debbie anywhere Charity fears for their lives.

Meanwhile on a fishing trip, astute Cain has sussed that they are being followed by some city thugs so loses them in the woods.

Alarm bells ring for Donna when Robert skips a date with her to take Elaine out on a driving lesson.

Having not heard from her hubby in weeks, Lisa is starting to get concerned for his welfare. Meanwhile Shadrach is keen to blacken Zach’s name, suggesting that he must have lost interest in his doting family.

Viv is dying to open her son’s letter containing the results of his DNA test so is relieved when Scott finally shows up to put her out of her misery. With official documentation proving that Scott is Jean’s father he finally has something against the man who is intent on ruining his livelihood. Much to Chris’s horror Scott appears at Home Farm brandishing the evidence, and once again insisting that he did not rape Zoe. He tells Chris that he can buy, burn or evict him but he will still always be a part of their lives.

Review
Charity has cause for concern when Debbie reveals she saw Charity kissing Cain. Terry is stunned when Chris fires him once again. Donna grows increasingly jealous of Elaine and Robert's friendship.

At Home Farm, Charity is shocked to find out just how close Cain came to suffering Chris’s wrath, when her husband reveals that he had sent some of his henchmen after Cain.

Her feelings of guilt over her passionate embrace with Cain are quick to disappear when Charity realises Debbie’s life was at risk too. Secretly relieved for Cain as well, she berates Chris for his actions.

Cain knows he had a lucky escape and his magic seems to be working on Charity. Even Debbie notes his good mood as they spend time together, knowing it must be as a result of the kiss.
Convinced her mother and father are on the brink of getting back together, Debbie later tells a stunned Charity that she witnessed their kiss. But her revelation backfires as Charity’s reaction is far from warm, and she insists Debbie remain tight-lipped.

Elsewhere in the village, Robert finally gets to road test his love-machine, as he and Donna get intimate in the car. Will this be the start of a new relationship, or will she be deflated after a one-night stand?

The date is cut short when Robert offers to give Elaine a driving lesson and Donna is dismayed when she is forced to take the back seat, as the threesome embark on a journey that is set to end up in disaster for Robert.

Lisa’s concern for Zak’s well-being grows, as she hasn’t heard from him for weeks. Little does she realise Shadrach is up to his old tricks, as he sets about trying to convince her Zak is gone for good.

After yesterday Charity decides to try a different tactic to persuade Chris to call off the deal to beat Cain up. Fuelled by her guilty conscience she declares her love for Chris, assuring him that her concern is for Debbie, not Cain. He agrees to stop the thugs, but later reveals to Terry that it’s only until he gets solid evidence that Charity and Cain are sleeping with each other.

Charity and Chris have a heart to heart

When Charity goes to pick Debbie up she takes advantage of a private moment alone with Cain to tell him that Chris has called off the assailants. Later on Debbie reveals to her mum that she saw them kiss, but Charity’s reaction is unexpected as she lashes out warning her off mentioning it to anyone and telling her to forget that she ever witnessed it.

Chris summons Terry to determine whether he leaked information to Charity. With his suspicions confirmed he sacks Terry on the basis that he lacks loyalty.

Terry retorts by telling Chris that he’s turned into a nutter. Although wife Dawn is worried about the pending financial problems she is supportive of Terry, saying that they’ll manage somehow.

Terry tells Chris some home truths

After confirmation that Scott is Jean’s father Zoe is finding it hard to muster up any emotions on the matter. When Chris admits to being behind the garage fire, Zoe tells her brother that even Scott didn’t deserve that treatment.

Shadrach is stepping up his advances to Lisa

Lisa is becoming increasingly worried about the lack of communication from Zak. Matters are worsened by a scheming Shadrach who suggests that Zak has found a fiery Latin American temptress.

Kind words from Ashley and Eric help to encourage Lisa into retaining faith in her loved one.

Donna gets her long awaited drive in the countryside with Rob, complete with steamy back-seat action. She isn’t so pleased, however, when her boyfriend picks up Elaine for a driving lesson straight after. Later on, as the girls chat in the café, Donna is amazed to learn that Elaine is a proud virgin.

Review
Lisa is dismayed to learn that Zak wants a divorce. Elaine begins to question her feelings for Robert. Terry is given his job back but is concerned to hear that Chris is unwell.

Shadrach’s been making himself at home at the Dingles for too long and when Lisa catches him red-handed tampering with letters from Zak, she’s determined to sling him out on his ear.

Having not received any mail for months, Lisa becomes suspicious when a letter turns up out of the blue explaining Zak has met a new family and will not be returning!

But cunning Lisa will not be fooled as she examines the letter more closely to see the handwriting is unfamiliar. Putting two and two together she cross examines Shadrach who is ashamed to admit he wrote it.

Debbie still holds hope that Cain and Charity will reunite having witnessed their lingering kiss, even though Charity’s reaction to her admission was so frosty.

Meanwhile at Home Farm, Chris is feeling the strain, as his headaches get worse. An appointment with the doctors over his increasingly painful headaches leads to a referral to Neurologist for closer examination.

Chris is acting more iratically and drinking heavier than usual

Having slept with Robert, Donna is down in the dumps, as she suddenly seems to be competing with Elaine for his attention. To make matters worse, she gets dumped by her model agency, which adds to her insecurities.

Elsewhere in the village, Turner is under the weather and is feeling the strain at the B&B. He is further annoyed when Steph and Shelly promise to pull their weight, but only for a price!

Shadrach’s been hijacking Paul the postman daily to filter out Zak’s letters home. However his master plan to win Lisa’s heart goes horribly wrong when he forges a letter in Zak’s name.

The strategically placed letter, declaring that Zak has found another family in Chile, is found by an excited Sam who rips it open eagerly. When he reads the contents he furiously chucks it in the pigpen leaving Lisa to forage amongst the hogs to find it!

As she reads a section of the mauled letter her suspicions are immediately aroused by the dodgy handwriting and inability to spell Belle’s name correctly. Realising that Shadrach is the culprit Lisa is after blood, until Marlon suggests seeking tactical revenge as opposed to physical.

Chris re-instates Terry with his job after they reach an agreement to start afresh. His first task is to ferry Chris to the doctors to checkout his increasingly bad headaches. Despite various blood tests Chris tells Terry it’s just stress related and stipulates that Charity is not to be informed.

Charity is noticeably embarrassed when she catches up with Cain in the pub. While Cain is sure that through the kiss they have reached an unspoken agreement, Charity points out that for her that means staying out of his way!

Betty’s friend Pearl makes an impression on the older residents with her larger than life re-appearance in the village. Meanwhile Jarvis teases Len about only having eyes for one lady – the lovely Edna.

Donna’s gutted when her modelling agent informs her that she’s been taken of the books on the grounds that she doesn’t have what it takes. And, despite Ronnie’s disapproval, Elaine arranges more driving practice with Robert after receiving confirmation of her second driving test date.

Turner is finding it hard to keep his head above water running the B&B, and his health is noticeably suffering. Steph takes advantage of her ailing father by offering to help, but only for significant financial gain.

Review
Feeling abandoned by an absent Zak, Lisa embarks on a date. Robert's reckless driving almost ends in disaster. Steph and Shelly are forced to earn their keep with some hard labour.

Lisa is determined to get her own back on Shadrach for his deception over the letters from Zak. Playing him at his own game, Lisa drafts another fake letter from a threatening Zak, which details morbid plans for Shadrach on his return.

Worried Zak has found out about his amorous antics, Shadrach makes himself scarce, leaving Lisa glad she has finally managed to get her own back.
But it doesn’t take long before he returns with his tail between his legs. Will Lisa allow him back in the house, or tell him to sling his hook?

Ashley offers Lisa a sympathetic ear

Frustrated Donna confides in Elaine, filling her in on the details of her afternoon of passion with Robert. But when Elaine gives her a ticking off for jumping into things too quickly, it leads Donna to believe she might be jealous.
With Robert spending so much time with Elaine, Donna continues to be suspicious.

She tracks him down and questions their relationship. However Robert is dismissive and tells Donna he is giving Elaine another driving lesson and is running late, leaving Donna deflated.

With Turner out of action at the B&B, Steph and Shelley are running rife! While Shelly gets stuck-in in the kitchen, Steph skives from her duties front of house.

Meanwhile Len is struck by Pearl’s forward manner as she invites him to accompany her to a tea dance. Edna overhears her offer and feigns disgust. Although Len would secretly prefer to go with Edna, he is too nervous to ask her so accepts Pearl’s offer.

Belle, Lisa and Sam make up part of the Dingle court set out to judge Shadrach

The Dingles action their plan to punish Shadrach for his deception. Intercepting another letter from Zak, Shadrach is horrified to learn that his brother plans to return to the village any day. Unaware that the letter is a forgery he is spooked by the threats that he’s after Shadrach’s blood for trying it on with Lisa. Taking the bait he packs his bags, but as he leaves Marlon appears excitedly announcing that Zak is back and wants to see him. A sheepish Shadrach is instead met with the Dingle court and is subsequently found guilty for attempted adultery with brother’s woman, postal fraud and generally just being a disgusting old git!

In a classic scene, which was wordless, Shadrach pleaded for a second chance.  You could hear a pin drop as Belle raised her arm and pointed her finger to the door.

He is banished from the Dingle family but not before Cain recovers all of the stolen letters. Instead of finding solace in them Lisa is left feeling even more neglected, as Zak doesn’t mention missing her or coming home once.

Shadrach turns to the church for refuge, but when he explains to Ashley that Lisa took exception to him re-directing her post the vicar throws him out on his ear. Having stolen the church flowers as a peace offering Shadrach reappears at the Dingles with his tail between his legs.

Later on Ashley appears to reclaim his flowers and finding Lisa down in the dumps he lends a sympathetic ear. Spurred on by his words of encouragement to move her life on, Lisa picks up the phone to call Brian to arrange a dinner date.

With Turner ill Shelley and Steph are left in charge of running the B&B. While Shelley manages her tasks well, Steph struggles with dealing with guest complaints and requests.

Elaine warns Donna that Robert is only after one thing, and is shocked to hear that he’s getting it on a plate.

Pearl asks Jarvis to join her at the tea dance, under the proviso that he doesn’t actually have to dance!

Review
Jarvis has plans for a reluctant Len and Edna. Sam's loyalties are tested when Lisa reveals there's a new man in her life. Steph and Shelly's unorthodox methods prove to be a success.
