Andy is devastated to learn that Libby has a boyfriend
7:00 PM to 7:30 PM
When Carl reckons a baby’s bad news, Chloe offers to
have an abortion.
The hunt for Shelly turns up some good news for Turner.
Andy finds out his posh totty’s attached.
Chloe (Amy Nuttall) emotionally blackmails Carl (Tom
Lister) by telling him that the pregnancy is her problem and not his.
Carl insists that he won’t turn his back on her and reluctantly
agrees when she suggests a termination.
Chloe later books an appointment with her GP and then tells Carl that
her biggest fear is losing him. Carl clearly feels trapped but will
he stand by his woman?
Meanwhile, Turner (Richard Thorp) gets his hopes up when the mysterious
calls to the B&B are traced back to Newquay. Knowing that Shelly
(Carolyn Pickles) has always been fond of the seaside town, Turner
is convinced that she has been trying to get in touch. Is he living
in false hope?
Elsewhere, Andy’s (Kelvin Fletcher) hopes of wooing Libby (Ty
Glaser) are dashed when she mentions that she has a boyfriend. How
will Libby feel when she sees his disappointment?

||Betty goes shopping for Turner as he won’t
leave the house. But it gives her a good chance to gossip with
Viv. She tells her that Turner thinks the anonymous calls are Shelly.
Ethan overhears and offers his help, but Betty shouts at him and
tells him he’s caused enough trouble by suggesting the calls
were Shelly in the first place.
||Max tells Tom, or rather Tom finds out, about his planned weekend
with Carl in Amsterdam, he says it’s to cheer Carl up as
he’s having relationship problems. But Carl walks in and
denies anything is wrong so Tom draws the conclusion that Tom is
just slacking instead of finding a job – he’s right! ‘You
need a rocket up your backside.’
||Having found Cain’s number on Sadie’s phone bill,
Jimmy also checks her phone and notices that she called him quite
recently. Sadie asks him if he’s reconsidered joining her,
but Jimmy gets in a huff and storms off, nearly knocking Libby
off her horse with his speedy driving.
||At work, Carl asks Chloe how she is, ‘It’s my problem,
I told you. You made your feelings clear last night.’ Carl
tells her that he’s not turning his back on her and wants
to talk to her at lunchtime about it.
||Back at home, Chloe and Carl talk about the baby. Carl tells
Chloe that he cares about her, but she suggests they have an abortion.
He agrees that it’s the best course of action, and seems
very relieved at the same time.
||Recovering from her shock, Libby makes herself at home at Andy’s
while he sees to her horse. She gives him a peck on the cheek for
his trouble, but the big grin on his face is soon gone when Libby
later introduces him to her tall, handsome and probably very rich
||Meanwhile, Marlon goes to see Turner and tells him he understands
how he’s feeling. He says that it took him a while to accept
that Tricia was not coming back and that he doesn’t blame
Turner for clinging to any hope that she’s still alive. But
he says it shouldn’t rule his life. Marlon is just sooo sensible
||After experiencing flashbacks, Steph calls Ethan and asks him
to visit her – she needs to tell him something. Has she remembered
what she's done?
||Charity finds Jimmy in the café. He tells her he’s
not going on holiday anymore. Charity keeps on at him that Sadie
is lying and although he admits that she might not have been telling
him the truth, he tells Charity that he needs more evidence ‘before
I begin to destroy my marriage’. So you're thinking about
it then, Jimmy!
||Back to Chloe and Carl and he tells her that they’re in
this together. He tells her she was right to suggest an abortion,
but he also asks her if she can keep the whole pregnancy thing
a secret! How cheeky!
||She calls the doctors to arrange an appointment, but won’t
be referred to the clinic for a couple of weeks. Chloe admits she’s
scared, but not so much about the abortion, but of losing Carl.
She tells him she loves him and thinks they have something special.
Something in his body language suggests he’s not feeling
||Turner is told that the anonymous calls were lodged in Newquay.
DI Keysell says they were probably hoaxes, but Turner tells him
that Newquay was always close to Shelly’s heart and he’s
convinced she’s been trying to call him. Keysell asks the
local police to look into it.
