With no-one to lean on, Debbie decides to keep
her pregnancy a secret.
Andy lands a date with posh Libby, much to Chas’ disapproval.
Sam’s upset that Alice seems Norfolk bound.
Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) is delighted when Libby (Ty Glaser) invites
him to go for a drink to discuss renting the stables and they head
to the Woolpack together.
Meanwhile, Debbie (Charley Webb) comes out of the pub toilets having
done another two tests conforming that she is pregnant and is clearly
upset to see Andy having a drink with another girl.
Debbie is resolute; she doesn’t care and wants to put her troubles
behind her. She clearly intends to keep her pregnancy to herself but
for how long can she ignore it?
Elsewhere, Sam (James Hooton) is delighted when Alice (Ursula Holden
Gill) pays him a visit. As they tend to the chickens Alice tells him
that she is considering moving to Norfolk. Sam is overcome with sadness
at the thought of losing his newfound friend.
True confessions Tues, 7.00pm, 11th January
||Jack takes Diane’s words on board and decides
to go and see Andy. He reminds Andy that Debbie is only a 15-year-old
while Andy reminds Jack that he isn’t a good one to talk
about relationships – ouch! Andy then reveals that he is
actually in love with Debbie.
||Meanwhile, Turner reads the local newspaper to discover the reporter
has written a story about Shelly, using quotes from Ethan. He confronts
Ethan and Ashley in the street and tells him that Steph ‘is
pulling the wool over your eyes’.
||On a lighter note, Alice pays Sam a visit and they have a stilted
chat over chicken feed, ahh bless. Sam later offers his help with
her auction tomorrow, but she tells him she’ll do it by herself
as she won’t be able ‘to think straight if you’re
||Back to the father-son chat where Andy tells Jack that he didn’t
mean to fall in love with Debbie, but admits it’s been really
hard to run the farm. He claims she was a breath of fresh air for
him, but that he's finished it with her. Jack offers his help on
the farm until Andy finds a labourer.
||Little does Andy know that Debbie has walked into a pharmacy
to buy two more pregnancy kits. The pharmacist offers to put her
in touch with someone who can help, but Debbie insists the tests
are for a friend - aren't they always?
||Turner receives some promising news from the police – there
have been three sightings of Shelly following the newspaper article.
Turner is thrilled and admits that he might have been wrong about
the article, but the police warn him that they could be hoaxes.
Turner feels renewed hope nonetheless.
||Chas convinces Debbie to have a drink in the pub, but first she
does another pregnancy test, which again shows her the dreaded
blue line. As she walks out of the toilets she is distraught when
she sees Andy having a drink with hot horse totty Libby.
||Meanhwile, Terry shows Turner the bike that he’s found
and bought for him. But Turner says he doesn’t want it any
longer as he doesn’t want to be reminded of the past. Terry
tries to sell it back to the original owner, but he’ll only
have it back for £500 less than what he sold it for!
||Fed up with grumpy-boots Bob, Chas boosts his ego using a metal
drinks tray of all things. She gets him to look into it and see
a single man, free of Viv and able to do exactly what he wants.
Bob heads to a proper mirror to comb his hair with smile fully
returned - atta boy!
||After walking out of the pub Debbie burns her pregnancy tests.
Chas goes to find her to check she’s ok, but Debbie claims
she doesn’t ‘care about Andy or anything else’.
It seems she is not yet ready to confront her pregnancy and hopes
it will just go away - no such luck Debs...
