Charity's plan finally comes together
ITV1 Network
7:00 PM to 7:30 PM
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Charity (Emma Atkins) is triumphant, having got the evidence she needed on
video tape. After making several copies she heads into the pub with one in
her bag.

Chas (Lucy Pargeter) is shocked when her cousin asks her to look after
the tape and demands that Charity tell her exactly what is going on.
Chas is alarmed to hear the contents of the videotape and is clearly
worried when Charity announces that she intends to blackmail an unsuspecting
Jimmy the following day.
Elsewhere, Steph (Lorraine Chase) inappropriately
interrupts a meeting between Ethan (Liam O’Brien) and a grieving widow. Her offer
of cake goes down like a lead balloon and Ethan is furious as the devastated
woman rushes out in tears. Could Steph’s days at the vicarage
be numbered?
Louise (Emily Symons) and Terry (Billy Hartman) return home from their
trip to Scotland more in love than ever. When Louise later offers to
help Terry out at the B&B, they decide that they are a good team
and agree that they are serious about one another.
Max starts work at the vets and Paddy introduces him
to the new receptionist - Libby!

Max and Pollard are getting ready for their big days.
Max begins his job at the vets while Pollard is going to court
for his trading standards case. |
|
It’s not so bad at least for Max, though, as he meets the
new receptionist… gorgeous blonde horse chick Libby. Now
he’s smiling! |
|
Charity is also getting ready for her big day with Jimmy in the
hotel. As she leaves, Chas tells her cousin to be careful. |
|
Meanwhile, Val is on tenterhooks waiting for Pollard and she
admits to Diane that she’s not sure if he’s coming
back. Diane is surprised by Val’s reaction, but her sister
tells her that Pollard is misunderstood. |
|
Jimmy is getting his excuses in as he prepares for his afternoon
with Charity. But the stupid fool doesn’t manage to get his
story straight – he tells Matthew that he’s gone to
Leeds for a meeting, but when Matthew sees his friend in the pub
he tells him that Jimmy has gone to play golf in Manchester. Is
Matthew about to find out? |
|
Elsewhere, Pollard waltzes into the pub a free man after Steph
took all the blame in the handbag scandal and was given a conditional
discharge. Val is delighted and is rewarded with a kiss. Aww! |
|
Max is also up for a kiss or two when he asks Libby out for a
drink after work. ‘I expect if I say no you won’t listen,
so yeah, ok.’ Hasn’t she got a boyfriend??! |
|
The ‘happy’ couple are enjoying themselves in the
hotel and it doesn’t take long for Charity to get Jimmy talking.
He calls Tom a ‘sanctimonious old git, we’ll all be
better off once he’s croaked,’ while he also admits
that the Kings played a part in the death of Paul Marsden once
Charity admits that Sadie had already told her about it. What is
she up to? |
|
He goes on to say how unhappy he is with Sadie and her deception
over wanting to have children. But Charity reassures him that Tom
will eventually see what she’s like (with Charity’s
scheming we can almost bet on it!) |
|
It’s not long before we find out just what Charity is up
to. She sends Jimmy off to get some beer and while he’s gone
she walks over to a camcorder that she has set up recording the
whole afternoon! Gotcha Jimmy! |
