Frustrated, Jimmy turns up the heat to start a family with Sadie.

Alan rejects Steph’s efforts to rekindle their relationship.

Bob’s interfering gets too much for Dawn.

Sadie (Patsy Kensit) and Jimmy (Nick Miles) discuss plans for the new house, but the atmosphere becomes tense when Jimmy insists they will need a nursery if it is to become their family home. Sadie feels pressured again when Tom (Ken Farrington) later mentions grandchildren and as soon as the opportunity arises she slopes off.

Meanwhile, Robert (Karl Davies) puts Sadie’s plan into action and steals her car for financial gain. As he drives off in the motor at high speed he is unaware that Callum (Andrew Whipp) has spotted him and called the police.

The young mechanic is pulled over and arrested despite insisting that he is simply checking the tyres for Mrs King. Sadie later verifies Robert’s story but Jimmy is left suspicious of his wife’s behaviour.

Elsewhere, Steph (Lorraine Chase) does her utmost to get closer to Turner (Richard Thorp) but he seems to prefer the company of the Dingles. She tells him that she would like to help with the B&B but he snubs her offer, insisting that he’s used to dealing with his problems on his own.
