Review :- Scott is taken by surprise when Zoe confesses her feelings towards him. Chas and Carl make an arresting sight al fresco, Zak's cursed plan falls apart thanks to Viv.
Scott and Zoe confess they have feelings for one another
Zoe (Leah Bracknell) later confides in Paddy (Dominic Brunt) her feelings towards Scott, but – assuming he is back with Chloe – she is sure that they don’t stand a chance. Zoe is later left with food for thought when she runs into Syd (Nathan Gladwell) who insists that Scott is crazy about her. That evening Zoe questions Scott and he confesses he has feelings for her. Just when he thinks she is about to sack him, Zoe tells him she feels the same way. Could this be the beginning of a new romance? Edna (Shirley Stelfox) gets a shock when she hears strange noises while walking Tootsie in the woods. She is disgusted when she sees Carl (Tom Lister) and Chas (Lucy Pargeter) frolicking against a tree trunk. After receiving verbal abuse from Chas, Edna disappears and swiftly returns with two police officers. Chas and Carl are arrested for breach of peace. Will this put a stop to the frisky couple’s outdoor antics? Over at the Dingles, Zak (Steve Halliwell) continues to convince Lisa (Jane Cox) that they are under a curse. Suspicious that Zak is planning on returning to Chile, Lisa threatens that if he does their marriage will be over. Note this story was altered in the final cut obviously to make way for an absence by Steve Halliwell. The character of Zak had not been seen on screen for some days. The script began to deviate from the officially released synopsis around Friday 28th May 2004 with Zak reportedly going off somewhere before breakfast without being seen. Only Sam knew where he was. Later, in the shop, Lisa overhears Val (Charlie Hardwick) talking about Rodney wanting to illegally import a grapevine from Chile and needing someone to smuggle it in for him. [This did happen in the final cut.] Realising the curse has all been a scam to let him go back to Chile, Lisa races home to give Zak a piece of her mind. Note this story did not happen in the final cut obviously to make way for an absence by Steve Halliwell. The character of Zak had not been seen on screen for some days. Instead Lisa raced home to give Sam a piece of her mind and she got the truth out of Sam that Zak was already in Chile and had gone some days before.
