ITV1 Network Friday 21 May 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM Review :- A devastated Diane forces the truth from the feuding Sugden brothers. Marlon tries to fend off an amorous Donna. Louise makes a guilty Dawn see sense over Terry.
Andy panics that the police are onto him Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) returns from her holiday, distraught to find there has been no change in Jack’s (Clive Hornby) condition. As Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) tries to convince Diane the shooting was an accident, Jack stirs and his eyes flicker open momentarily. As the doctor leaves, Diane is suspicious and collars Robert (Karl Davies) and Andy demanding to know what really happened. Both insist it was an accident, but she probes further and things start to become clear. Later, Andy panics after realising how quickly Diane discovered his deception. He wonders how long will it take before the police begin to uncover the truth? Back at the village, Marlon (Mark Charnock) does his best to avoid Donna (Verity Rushworth), but she comes to the Woolpack with the sole intention of catching his eye. She flirtatiously asks if she can buy him a drink on his next break, leaving Marlon worried by her intentions. Donna is later on cloud nine and can’t resist telling her parents about her new boyfriend Marlon! Meanwhile, Louise (Emily Symons) takes Dawn (Julia Mallam) aside and reiterates that nothing happened between her and Terry (Billy Hartman). Dawn later questions Bob (Tony Audenshaw) about what he saw and he confirms they were only kissing. Dawn begins to wonder if she has blown the situation out of proportion and realises she has been unreasonable in denying Terry access to TJ (Connor Lee). She apologises to Terry, telling him they should be concentrating on their son rather than arguing and agrees to let him spend more time with him.
