Zoe contemplates a relationship with Scott

Following their kiss the night before, Zoe (Leah Bracknell) leaves the house early to avoid a confrontation with Scott (Ben Freeman). Scott later tells Syd (Nathan Gladwell) about the kiss and admits that he thinks he could be falling for his boss.

Later at Home Farm, Zoe tells Scott that it was a mistake and reminds him that she is gay. Scott insists it meant something to him, but Zoe reacts with a hurtful comment. Scott apologises and rushes off, leaving Zoe feeling guilty.

That evening, Zoe pours her heart out to Paddy (Dominic Brunt), confessing she has feelings for Scott. He can’t believe his ears when she tells him that although she doesn’t think of him in a sexual way, she hopes they could have a relationship on a companionship level.

Meanwhile, believing Zoe doesn’t care for him, upset Scott gets drunk and seeks comfort from Chloe (Amy Nuttall) who ends up back at his flat.

Elsewhere, frustrated that Robert (Karl Davies) still hasn’t stood up to Jack (Clive Hornby), Katie (Sammy Winward) phones her mum in tears and tells her she is coming to stay. When Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) gets home, he sees Katie’s been crying and tries to help, but she resists, pushing him away.

Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) suggests to Jack that they take a holiday, but he says he’s dubious about leaving Robert and Katie alone. They agree that she might be better going away without him and she decides to go with Bernice instead.

ITV.COM Sealed With A Kiss Sunday 02.05.04 Following their kiss the night before Scott wants to know where he stands but Zoe can’t get out of the house fast enough and drives off as Scott tries to talk to her. In the Woolpack Scott tells an incredulous Syd that he kissed Zoe and he fancies her. When he eventually catches up with Zoe she is quick to remind him that she’s a lesbian and stuns him by telling him that she thinks he’s trying to manipulate her into sleeping with him like he did before. Upset Scott apologies and leaves.

That evening, Zoe pours her heart out to Paddy confessing she has feelings for Scott. He can’t believe his ears when she tells him that although she doesn’t think of Scott in a sexual way, she hopes they could have a relationship based on companionship. Paddy tells her that he thinks this is a really bad idea. Still reeling from Zoe’s hurtful remark earlier in the day Scott runs into Chloe and she ends up coming back to his flat after a few drinks in the Woolpack.

Robert tells his father that his is considering a move to Leeds. He goes round to see Katie and asks her to come and live with him once he gets a job in Leeds. He tells her that he’s told Jack they are going but when Katie presses him he admits that he’s only told Jack that he’s thought about moving to Leeds. Katie calls Robert a coward and sends him packing. When Andy returns and finds her in tears he is left feeling hurt as she pushes him away again.
