Louise and Terry share a passionate kiss Terry (Billy Hartman) is surprised to find an upset Louise (Emily Symons) at his door. During a heart to heart she admits that she was in love with him when he came back from Spain with Dawn (Julia Mallam). Terry is taken aback further when she goes on to confess she is still in love with him and they share a passionate kiss. Meanwhile, Bob (Tony Audenshaw) calls round to pick up some of TJ’s toys and witnesses the kiss through the window. Shocked, he quickly heads back down the path. Back inside, Terry quickly pulls away from their embrace and apologises to Louise, telling her it is all too much for him at the moment. An embarrassed and rejected Louise leaves. How will Dawn react if she finds out?
As Jack’s (Clive Hornby) life hangs in the balance at the hospital, Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) and Robert (Karl Davies) both wake up in separate cells. Having covered for Andy and corroborated a story about the shot being an accident, both brothers are allowed out of jail until further investigations. Later at the hospital, the tension between the brothers is rife as Robert makes a bitter remark that it wasn’t enough that Andy killed his own mother, he then tried to kill his dad too. Andy shakes his head in disbelief at what he has done. By Jack’s bedside, the brothers share a moment as Andy realises Robert lied for him, even though he knew he was trying to kill him. Andy makes a heartfelt apology and the brothers embrace. Back in the village, luckless Donna (Verity Rushworth) pours her heart out to Marlon (Mark Charnock) with full details of all that has happened with Robert (Karl Davies). Donna misconstrues Marlon’s attempt at comforting her and suddenly sees Marlon in a new light!
