Scott becomes over familiar as Dawn starts work for the Tate Empire. It’s Dawn’s (Julia Mallam) first day on the job and Terry (Billy Hartman) is upset that she won’t leave TJ alone with him. Meanwhile, Scott (Ben Freeman) is flirtatious with Dawn and asks her if she wants to go for a drink after work. Although Dawn is tempted she admits she has to pick TJ up and get back for Terry. When she finally gets home she is left feeling unhappy with her lot. She gets a text message from Scott but guiltily lies to Terry when he asks who it’s from. Katie (Sammy Winward) finds the pressure of having Robert (Karl Davies) around her all the time too much. She tells him nothing can ever happen between them again. But will Robert be able to convince her otherwise? Meanwhile, unlucky-in-love Donna (Verity Rushworth) is jealous that Robert has been spending all his time at the farm. She quizzes Katie about him, telling her she would love to go out with him again. Katie advises Donna to stay away. Katie later suggests to Andy that they should take on a lodger, someone that could help out with the farm and take the pressure off Andy. Secretly, Katie hopes that if they get some extra live-in help, they won’t have to rely on Robert. Times are suddenly tough for unemployed Chas (Lucy Pargeter) as she struggles to make ends meet. She asks Bob (Tony Audenshaw) to put in a good word at the café, hoping it might get her a waitressing job. She later gets an opportunity to prove her worth when she spontaneously gives Emily (Kate McGregor) a hand working in the coffee shop. Viv (Deena Payne) is shocked to see Chas mucking in but agrees to give her a trial.
