WEDNESDAY 31 MARCH 2004 7.00 to 7.30 pm ITV1 Review: Terry throws Dawn out when she admits she has been lusting after Scott. As Edna (Shirley Stelfox) enjoys her early morning stroll with Tootsie, she is surprised to come across Scott (Ben Freeman) on the cricket pitch. She quickly alerts Viv (Deena Payne) and Bob (Tony Audenshaw), convinced Scott is having some kind of breakdown. Having spent a lengthy night rigid with fear on the rock structure, Scott is livid when Viv removes the sack from his head and helps him down. The Dingles ignore his angry threats and before long he is the laughing stock of the village. To make matters worse, Dawn (Julia Mallam) is furious with Scott for standing her up the previous day and when she refuses to listen to his explanation he feels like banging his head against a brick wall. However, Dawn’s mood swings have not gone unnoticed by Terry (Billy Hartman), and he is chuffed when he thinks he’s come up with the answer to their marital problems. When he produces a holiday brochure suggesting they go away, he is shocked when Dawn bites his head off. With so much pent-up frustration Dawn loses her rag and lays her marriage on the line by telling Terry she considered sleeping with another man. Terry’s mind races when he realises she is talking about Scott. No longer able to trust the woman he loves, Terry throws Dawn out, slamming the door in her face. Left alone, Dawn breaks down as she realises her marriage is over. The reality of giving up her son hits home for Charity (Emma Atkins) when Zoe (Leah Bracknell) refuses to let her see Noah at the hospital. Will Charity stand by their agreement?
