WEDNESDAY 24 MARCH 2004 7.00 – 7.30PM ITV1 Review Donna discovers she has a sexually transmitted disease. Robert (Karl Davies) comments to Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) that Donna has been acting strangely. Andy suggests she might be pregnant, sewing a seed of fear inside Robert. Meanwhile, Donna (Verity Rushworth) returns from the doctor in a state and goes to talk to her mum. Viv (Deena Payne) is ridden with shame when Donna tells her she has got a sexually transmitted disease – Chlamydia. Suspicious Pearl (Meg Johnson) interrogates Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy having detected Jarvis (Richard Moore) is holding something back from Edna (Shirley Stelfox). Laurel remains tight-lipped, but Pearl does some investigating of her own. Worried for Edna’s feelings, Jarvis and Len (Peter Martin) persuade Pearl to keep a lid on what she has unearthed. There is shock throughout the village as the news of Noah’s father spreads around the village. What does this mean for baby Noah’s future?
