Tom makes Zoe and offer on Holdgate Farm Millionaire Tom King (Ken Farrington) is keen to take a look at Holdgate Farm with a view to buying the property from Zoe (Leah Bracknell). He arranges to have a look around the house. Upstairs, Marlon (Mark Charnock) is making adjustments to Tricia’s shrine when he hears footsteps in the house below. He accidentally knocks something over, and as it crashes to the floor he realises he has been heard. Tom is quick to go looking for the source of the noise and Marlon is terrified as he tries to get into the loft. When Emily (Kate McGregor) explains Marlon’s situation, Tom is unsympathetic and gives him a day to get out. Later Zoe and Tom negotiate a price for the land, and Tom agrees to get his solicitor on the case as soon as possible. Elsewhere in the village, Debbie (Charley Webb) can’t bear the thought of losing her baby brother, and desperately tries to persuade Charity (Emma Atkins) to keep Noah.
Aware that she will soon be back in prison full-time, Charity sees no option but to give the baby up for adoption. But with Debbie adamant that Cain is the father, will Charity change her mind?
