Robert and Donna move in with Katie and Andy. Katie (Sammy Winward) acts on her jealousy and can’t resist telling Viv (Deena Payne) that Donna (Verity Rushworth) has been sleeping with Robert (Karl Davies). Viv is furious, and when word gets back to Jack (Clive Hornby), he is equally annoyed at being made a fool of by Robert. An argument breaks out and Robert announces that he is moving out. Sick of getting grief from their parents, Donna suggests to Robert that they move in with Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) and Katie. After a quick phone call to Andy, they are soon getting cosy up at the farm. But what will Katie think about her new lodgers?
Determined to get her man at any cost, Val (Charlie Hardwick) turns up to see Danny (Cleveland Campbell) and begins to flirt outrageously. Before Danny knows what’s hit him, Val is unbuttoning his shirt. Despite the initial shock Danny can’t help but feel flattered. When Rodney (Patrick Mower) interrupts the moment, Val makes her excuses and disappears, leaving Rodney to assume that it is him she is after. Elsewhere in the village, Marlon (Mark Charnock) is still refusing to come out of the attic, and Viv gives Chas (Lucy Pargeter) the sack after an argument at work.
