to 7:30 PM Review :- Simon plans the ultimate commitment to Nicola unaware that he is heading for a fall. With the villagers already rallying around Andy, Katie feels even more isolated when Robert reconciles with Jack. Zoe feels the backlash of her relationship with Scott. Simon plans to propose to Nicola, but catches her with Syd
Simon explains to Rodney how special Nicola is to him, and asks for her hand in marriage. Rodney is thrilled and the celebrations commence. Later, Nicola and Syd return after a successful evening, and – misreading her signals – Syd makes a pass at an outraged Nicola who is insistent that she has a boyfriend. Unbeknown to Nicola, Simon has witnessed the exchange and is devastated by what he has seen. He later visits Nicola and asks her about her night. When she tells him it was boring and that she spent most of the evening alone, the knife cuts deeper and he leaves. Has Nicola blown her chances with Simon for good? As Jack (Clive Hornby) and Diane (Elizabeth Estensen) make marriage plans they are eager to include Robert (Karl Davies) and invite him over to dinner. Katie (Sammy Winward) later asks Robert if the invitation extends to her, but when he insists he doesn’t want to push his luck, Katie is left feeling excluded. Elsewhere in the village, Zoe (Leah Bracknell) has to contend with disapproving comments from Viv (Deena Payne) and later from Charity (Emma Atkins). She later lets off steam to a very understanding Scott (Ben Freeman), who tells her that she needs to learn to trust him. They share another kiss, but sensing Zoe’s discomfort Scott backs off. Is Zoe already beginning to have doubts about their relationship?
