Charity (Emma Atkins) is fed up with her living arrangements after being forced to sleep on the sofa for the night while Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Carl (Tom Lister) occupy the bed!

Despite her annoyance, Charity heads to work and Holdgate Farm is a hive of activity as Tom (Ken Farrington) and Matthew (Matt Healy) add the finishing touches to the birthday bash. Knuckling down, Charity is delighted when it appears her hard work is finally paying off when Tom asks her out for dinner.

Meanwhile, Jimmy (Nick Miles) receives a call from his wife Sadie (Patsy Kensit) who confirms she’s flying home the following day. Jimmy is delighted that she will be back in time for the party, convinced that she will put Charity in her place.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and Donna (Verity Rushworth) is still trying to come to terms with Robert (Karl Davies) and Katie’s (Sammy Winward) betrayal. Donna vents her anger on every unsuspecting male who crosses her path and Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) gets the brunt of her rage when she throws a pint over him in the pub.

Landlady Louise (Emily Symons) comes back from her holiday to find Chas has been reinstated at the pub in her absence. Angry that the fiery Dingle has wormed her way back behind the bar, Louise quickly asserts her authority by firing Chas for the second time before hiring Terry (Billy Hartman) and Val (Charlie Hardwick).

This episode of EMMERDALE is written by Christine Murphy, produced by Kathleen Beedles and directed by Mike Adams. The executive producer is Keith Richardson and the series producer is Steve Frost. It is a Yorkshire Television production for ITV1.
