EMMERDALE Review :- Katie returns to the village and makes waves with Andy and Robert. Tom tells Charity keeping Christopher won’t change his feelings. Nicola’s none too pleased
when Simon lends his ex some cash.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Katie returns to the village As Charity (Emma Atkins) moves her belongings into Holdgate Farm, she can’t stop thinking about her son and admits to Tom (Ken Farrington) that she’s not sure she can handle the thought of him being brought up by strangers. Tom confides in Sadie (Patsy Kensit) that he thinks Charity wants to keep her baby and confesses that it isn’t what he wants. Sadie seizes the opportunity and tells him that he can’t stand between Charity and her son – that he must let her go.
Meanwhile, Charity admits to an unimpressed Lisa (Jane Cox) that she can’t risk losing her millionaire fiancé, even if it means sacrificing her child. Later, after a confrontation with Zoe (Leah Bracknell), Charity tells Tom she can’t bear to let Noah (Alfie Mortimer) go. Charity is thrilled when he tells her that if it’s what she really wants, he will learn to live with it if it means they can be together. Over at the farm, Katie (Sammy Winward) shocks estranged husband Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) when she unexpectedly turns up on his doorstep. After discussing financial matters, Katie waits at the bus stop but is spotted by Robert (Karl Davies) before she is able to leave. He does all he can to beg her to stay, but despite his pleas Katie insists it’s too late. Elsewhere in the village, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) is beside herself with jealousy when she learns that Simon (Dale Meeks) and Natasha (Sally Evans) dated for ten years. She is frustrated further when she discovers that Simon has lent Tash money, and the couple have a ferocious argument.
