The police are suspicous when they find a blood spattered barn but The Dingles have a plan.
Hampered by her hip, Edna takes out her frustration on Jarvis.
Sadie reckons Charity’s changed her mind
Charity begins to have doubts about giving up her son
Jarvis (Richard Moore) takes delivery of Edna’s (Shirley Stelfox) commode while she is at a physio session, but Edna is livid when she sees it. He loses his temper and tells her it is time to face up to the fact that she is temporarily disabled.
Meanwhile, Lisa (Jane Cox) stashes the stolen meat in the Woolpack fridge before confessing all to Andy (Kelvin Fletcher). They strike a deal that Andy will tell the police he found the animal dead if Shadrach (Andy Devine) pays off the lost revenue by becoming a labourer on the farm.
Will lazy Shadrach stick to the deal in order to stop the police from banging on the Dingles’ door?
As the adoption hearing looms, Charity (Emma Atkins) is having doubts about giving up her son but remains adamant that she has made her mind up.
Later, Sadie (Patsy Kensit) takes delight in telling Charity that she spent the afternoon with Zoe (Leah Bracknell) and baby Christopher (Alfie Mortimer) and torments her about what a great mum Zoe is.
