Terry is devastated when he hears Dawn has gone out with Scott

It’s the morning after the night before, and as the dust settles
Dawn (Julia Mallam) is adamant that she doesn’t want to see Terry
(Billy Hartman). In the last year she has had to grow up very quickly
and feels guilty that she’s beginning to feel the burden he presents.
Needing an escape, she agrees to go out with Scott (Ben Freeman) when
he calls round to see her. News travels fast in Emmerdale and it isn’t
long before Terry gets wind that his wife is out enjoying herself with
someone half his age.
He worries she will never look at him the same way again, having had
the stroke. To add to his insecurities, unsteady on his feet, Terry takes
a tumble as he sees Dawn and Scott leaving the Woolpack.
As they rush to his side, Terry feels utterly humiliated and refuses
to accept their help. Later that evening Terry and Dawn sit down to discuss
their future. Can the unfortunate couple re-build their marriage after
such a succession of knock backs?
Elsewhere in the village, love is in the air as Ashley (John Middleton)
and Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) spend quality time together. Seeing her
friend so blissfully happy makes Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) begin to question
her relationship with Simon (Dale Meeks).
Scott finds himself at the mercy of an unknown enemy, as the Tate Empire
takes a knock when one of the haulage wagons is impounded. He is convinced
the Dingles have had something to do with his recent stint of bad luck.
Little does he know, there are other powers at work.

less than delighted though when Laurel tells him
they are going on a double date to The Woolpack with

news for Tate Haulage when one of their trucks
is impounded by Customs & Excise. As Scott
and Carl set off to sort it out they run into Zak,
and Scott immediately accuses Zak of dirty tricks
and threatens to put him in hospital if he finds
out that he’s had anything to do with it. Carl,
meanwhile, has another of his secret meetings with
a mysterious stranger in a lay-by and it looks
as if someone wants to put the Tates out of business. |
