FRIDAY 9 APRIL 2004 7.00 – 7.30PM ITV1 Review :-
Katie (Sammy Winward) and Robert (Karl Davies) agree that she will leave Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) and stay with her dad
for six months before returning to be with Robert. Katie admits she can’t bear the thought of spending six months away from him and they kiss passionately. Victoria (Hannah Midgley) gets the shock of her life when she walks in on Robert and Katie under the duvet together. Later Robert realises that she must have seen them and grabs his little sister. He scares the living daylights out of her by threatening that she must never tell anyone what she saw. Terrified of what her brother might do, Victoria agrees. But how long can she keep the secret to herself? Meanwhile, Marlon (Mark Charnock) sits on a wall opposite Carrie’s (Laura Crossley) house until she returns home carrying some shopping. When she drops some groceries, Marlon rushes over to help her pick them up but is unable to introduce himself. Marlon later admits to Emily (Kate McGregor) that he went to see Carrie and Emily is deeply concerned. She insists that no good can come of it but Marlon claims that seeing Carrie made him feel closer to Tricia. Elsewhere, Edna (Shirley Stelfox) tells Len (Peter Martin) that Pearl (Meg Johnson) is not good enough for him, but he claims that he loves Pearl and Edna will just have to accept it.
