This episode of EMMERDALE is written by Lisa Holdsworth, produced by Tim Key and Kathleen Beedles, and directed by Di Patrick. The executive producer is Keith Richardson and the series producer is Steve Frost. It is a Yorkshire Television production for ITV1.

Review :-
Katie starts to crack and finally realises that Robert is the one for her.
Jack gets jealous of Diane and Rodney, but can Diane convince him that her past is firmly the past?
Edna is forced to accept the painful truth about her grandmother.

Katie decides she will leave Andy.

Robert and Katie are in bed together

Katie (Sammy Winward) sits sobbing as she struggles to come to terms with her love for Robert (Karl Davies) and guilt towards Andy (Kelvin Fletcher). Robert overhears her crying and tells her he’ll go back to live with his dad to give her some space.

Katie can’t bear to watch Robert  go and they end up back in bed.

But Katie can’t bear to watch him go and they end up back in bed. Realising they want to be together, Robert devises a plan that Katie can leave Andy and then once everything dies down she can be with him. Katie agrees that it will be worth the wait and they cling onto each other thinking about their future.

Elsewhere, Ashley (John Middleton) tries to comfort Edna (Shirley Stefox) over the village rumours, but she is adamant it is just Pearl (Meg Johnson) spreading lies. Later Jarvis (Richard Moore) goes to see Edna and shows her the newspaper article. Forced to accept the truth, Edna throws the paper into the fire and breaks down in tears.

Meanwhile, Jack (Clive Hornby) is sick of the sibling rivalry between Val (Charlie Hardwick) and Diane (Elizabeth Estensen). He tells Diane she’s being over dramatic and should swallow her pride by letting Val move back in. Will Diane agree to take Val back for the sake of her relationship with Jack?

Edna and Pearl
Ashley attempts the impossible by trying to comfort Edna over the rumours about her grandmotherís shady past. Edna is not best pleased when Ashley suggests that the rumours may not be slanderous. Edna later confronts Pearl and makes her feel awful for enjoying the news about her grandmother. With Pearl in tears Jarvis feels itís his duty to go and talk to Edna. Jarvis is frustrated by Ednaís holier than thou attitude and shows her the newspaper article. He leaves her, warning her not to turn her back on the memory of a grandmother who loved her.
Louise and Diane
Jack and Diane have a row about Valís continued presence at Jackís and Jack accuses Diane of overreacting to something that happened years ago. Diane has a chat with Louise and tells her she is annoyed by Jackís suggestion that she still has feelings for Rodney. Louise gets Diane to admit that Rodney still gets to her but tells her she must reassure Jack that heís the man for her. Diane goes round to collect Val. She tells Jack sheís taking Val off his hands for the sake of their relationship. Diane tells Val that things are going to be very different when she returns to The Woolpack.
Robert and Katie in bed
When Robert keeps sending Katie text messages she goes to the garage to confront him. The couple end up going round in circles talking about their future. When Robert later returns to the farm and finds Katie crying he tells her heís moving out. Katie canít bear to watch him go and they end up in bed together. Robert has a plan for their future and tells Katie she must leave Andy and then once everything dies down she can be with him. The couple cling to each other knowing the price of their happiness will be a high one.
