Review :-
Charity lands herself a job with the Kings, but will she be treated like a pincess?
Marlon finds himself on dangerous ground as his infatuation with Carrie grows ever more intense.
Rodney finds himself on a sticky wicket when it comes to buying the cricket pitch.

Charity gets a job working for the Kings.

Marlon is desperate to spend time with Carrie in order to feel closer to Tricia.

When penniless Charity (Emma Atkins) receives a hefty bill from her solicitor, the tension leads to a bitter argument with Cain (Jeff Hordley) when he implies she would sell Debbie too for the right price. Charity is furious and slaps him round the face.

Having taken so many blows over the last couple of months, it doesn’t take long for Charity to bounce back, and despite having lost both her children she’s determined not to be beaten.

Tom King

Bold as brass, Charity walks up to Tom King (Ken Farrington) in the pub and asks him for a job. Having witnessed her fiery outburst with Cain, Tom is intrigued by her feisty behaviour and offers her a two-week trial.

Marlon (Mark Charnock) still hasn’t given up the ghost as far as Tricia (Sheree Murphy) is concerned. Determined that there is still a piece of her living on in Carrie (Laura Crossley), his obsession begins to escalate out of control.

When he turns up on her doorstep with photos of Tricia, Carrie’s worst fears are confirmed, and it becomes apparent that Marlon has been watching her for days. Unnerved, Carrie throws confused Marlon out asking him not to come back.

Elsewhere in the village, Rodney (Patrick Mower) joins forces with Zoe (Leah Bracknell) as they discuss the cricket pitch for a potential site to develop houses. Danny (Cleveland Campbell) warns him he will make himself immensely unpopular in the village if he becomes involved.

Carrie and Marlon
Carrie becomes seriously alarmed as Marlon turns up on her doorstep clutching more poems dedicated to Tricia and his wedding photos. She lets him come in but soon wishes that she hadnít. Marlon is oblivious to her discomfort and Carrie has to, politely but firmly, tell him to leave. Carrie becomes really upset when it dawns on her that Marlon has been watching her house when he lets slip that he saw her throw out the flowers that he gave her.
Charity talks to Tom
With both hands bandaged after trying to retrieve her burning cash and disowned by her daughter Charity is not in the best of moods and berates Cain for not being able to provide the money she needs. When Cain suggests that she only thinks of money and would sell Debbie if the price were right Cain gets a slap. In The Woolpack Charity sees an opportunity to get her hands on some money when she gets talking to Tom King and tells him how she used to run Tate Trash. Cain turns up drunk and threatens Tom King before dragging Charity out of the pub. Incredibly Tom King offers Charity a job.
Rodney and Danny
Despite turning out for the cricket team Rodney is pleased that Zoe went for his idea of forming a consortium to buy and develop the cricket pitch in order to make a handsome profit. Over a coffee Danny warns Rodney that if he goes ahead with the scheme he is going to make himself a lot of enemies in the village.
