After their first argument, Ashley and Lauren kiss and make up...

Debbie is heartbroken to find out her mother sold baby Noah to Zoe in return for her freedom.

Debbie (Charley Webb) is relieved to have her mother home and excited by the prospect of them finally being a happy family. However, her elated mood is quickly quashed when Zoe (Leah Bracknell) barges into the Dingles and hands Charity (Emma Atkins) an envelope of cash, telling her to stay away from Chris’s baby.

Debbie is furious when she realises that her Mum has sold Noah to Zoe. Charity tries to explain but points out that she was going to get him adopted anyway and that Noah was her ticket to freedom.

Stunned by her Mum’s heartlessness, Debbie slaps Charity hard across the face. Later Debbie tells Emily (Kate McGregor) and Paddy (Dominic Brunt) what Charity has done and they offer to let her stay with them for a few days.

When Cain (Jeff Hordley) tries to stop his daughter from leaving, she threatens to shop Charity to social services for selling Noah. Charity is heartbroken when Debbie tells her she will never love her again after what she has done.

Elsewhere in the village, Katie (Sammy Winward) and Robert (Karl Davies) begin to panic about Victoria’s (Hannah Midgley) behaviour, and Jack (Jack Sugden) fears that something is seriously wrong. He desperately tries to reassure her, but Victoria still refuses to speak and Jack decides seek medical advice.

Meanwhile, after their tiff, Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) tells Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) she thinks she’s blown it with Ashley (John Middleton). Will they be able to get over the first hurdle and put the argument behind them?

Zoe and Debbie
Debbie’s hopes of living a happy family life at last are cruelly dashed when Zoe turns up with an envelope full of cash. Zoe explains to Debbie exactly what the money’s for. Debbie is horrified to learn that her mother has sold her brother to Zoe and storms out of the house. When Charity later tries to explain that Noah was her only hope of getting out of prison Debbie slaps Charity hard across the face.
Debbie talks to Emily
Debbie later tells a horrified Emily and Paddy that Charity has sold Noah to Zoe for £10,000. She tells them she hates Charity and doesn’t want to go home. Emily says that she can stay with them for the time being. When Debbie returns to collect her things she finds that Charity has brought an expensive necklace. Debbie tosses the necklace away and tells Charity that she no longer loves her. When Cain threatens to stop her from leaving Debbie threatens to shop Charity to social services for selling Noah.
Jack tries to talk to Victoria
With Victoria staying silent for a third day running Jack is worried and running out of patience with her. When Robert appears and Jack tries to coax her into speaking to her brother she gets up and leaves the room. Jack tells Robert he’s going to ask Siobhan to take a look at Victoria. Robert says there’s nothing to worry about and that he thinks Victoria is just messing about. Jack is annoyed that Robert is blasé about what is obviously a serious problem.
