Sadie and Jimmy’s marital problems deepen

The police arrive to search the B&B and when they find traces of blood and other evidence in the cellar they refuse to let Steph (Lorraine Chase) back in. Feeling confident that the discovery proves a scuffle went on, the police cannot rule out murder but realise that they need to find Shelly’s (Carolyn Pickles) body.

Ashley (John Middleton) offers Steph a shoulder to cry on along with a bed for the night, sticking by his principles that she is innocent until proven guilty.

Meanwhile Paddy (Dominic Brunt) and Emily (Kate McGregor) take Turner (Richard Thorp) home from hospital and Betty (Paula Tilbrook) invites him to stay with her.

Elsewhere, the cracks in Sadie (Patsy Kensit) and Jimmy’s (Nick Miles) marriage worsen despite her attempts to spend more time with her husband. Jimmy’s increasingly close relationship with Chloe (Amy Nuttall) does not help matters.

Bob (Tony Audenshaw) moves in with Dawn (Julia Mallam) forcing Scott (Ben Freeman) to move back in with his mum.

This episode of EMMERDALE is written by Lesley Clare O’Neill, produced by Kathleen Beedles and directed by Haldane Duncan. The executive producer is Keith Richardson and the series producer is Steve Frost. It is a Yorkshire Television production for ITV1.
