EMMERDALE Review :- Len’s taken aback when Pearl admits that her son, is in prison. Debbie reckons she’s going to move in with the Kings, but Charity has other ideas. Zoe’s voices get harder to handle. Pearl (Meg Johnson) is distraught when Zak (Steve Halliwell) comments that her secret is safe with him. Realising that Lisa must have told him about Frank Bernard she tearfully goes home and starts packing a suitcase. Len (Peter Martin) is stunned when he arrives to see Pearl preparing to leave. She admits that her son has been in prison for five years and storms out in tears. She later calms down and tries to smooth things over with her fiance, however, she fails to explain the reason behind Frank Bernard’s prison sentence. What is Pearl hiding? Elsewhere in the village, Zoe’s (Leah Bracknell) behaviour causes concern when she takes offence to a friendly comment from Emily (Kate McGregor) about the children. Concerned Scott (Ben Freeman) tries to talk to her but she brushes him aside. Zoe later gets flustered in a meeting with the estate manager when she can’t recall their previous conversation. She then takes her frustration out on their nanny when she imagines she can hear Jean (Meg Pearson) crying. It turns out that Jean is playing happily and Zoe is left questioning her mental stability. Meanwhile, Debbie (Charley Webb) is upset when Charity (Emma Atkins) tells her that there simply isn’t space for her at Holdgate Farm. Feeling dejected, Debbie turns to Ethan (Liam O’Brien) for support, telling him she missed him while she was away. Ethan is sympathetic but feels uncomfortable.
