EMMERDALE Review :- Terry reckons he’s got a chance in getting custody of TJ. Steph’s shake up at the factory looks doomed to fail. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) begins to have doubts about the cattle scam, but with the help of Cain (Jeff Hordley), Zak (Steve Halliwell) and Shadrach (Andy Devine) he arranges for a buyer to inspect the livestock. The customer soon becomes suspicious and threatens to contact the police. However, with some quick talking Andy manages to make a deal with him and pockets a large wad of cash. Zak, Cain and Shadrach are impressed and declare him an honorary Dingle for pulling off the scam. Terry (Billy Hartman) prepares for the custody hearing and tells a sympathetic Ashley (John Middleton) that he wants TJ (Alfie Mortimer) to know that he fought for him, even if it is all a waste of time. Meanwhile, Bob (Tony Audenshaw) reluctantly tells Viv (Deena Payne) about Dawn’s (Julia Mallam) plans to move to Spain, but is worried when she insists they must warn Terry. Bob swears her to silence, but will Viv be able to keep her mouth shut? Over at the factory, Pollard (Chris Chittell) begins to worry about Steph’s (Lorraine Chase) business plan as the workers struggle to make the fake handbags. He flatly refuses when Steph asks for time off to collect her dad and she is later upset when Turner (Richard Thorp) calls to talk to Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy), hanging up on Steph as she steals the phone.
