At Home Farm, subdued Zoe spends time with Jean on her first birthday and contemplates the events of the past couple of months.
Keen to make amends Daz asks Robert if he will put a good word in for him with Scott, hoping he will give him a job. After much persuasion Scott agrees to discuss the possibility of Daz doing community service with him at the garage.
Elsewhere in the village, Pollard fears for his estranged wife. Having been missing for weeks, he slowly resigns himself to the prospect of never seeing her again. Distraught as he feels he hasn’t had an opportunity to say goodbye to his wife, Pollard is convinced Gloria is dead.
