Paddy’s in a real state after his bust-up with Mandy.

Zoe sends him home from work and when Zak arrives spouting Dingle law, Paddy lets him know what he thinks – and pours a jug of water over him. Later when Lisa arrives to offer a shoulder to cry on, he breaks down and admits he doesn’t know how he’ll cope without his wife.

Bernice makes up with Kathy after the blind date fiasco. Ollie puts two and two together and realises who mugged Seth. Seth meanwhile is adamant he will not go to the police. And Robert is upset when his dad is too busy to listen to his plans about changing his GCSE options.

TUESDAY 3 OCTOBER 2003

Seth admits to Turner that his attackers were young girls. Later Ollie comes to find him and says she knows who was responsible – but he begs her to keep quiet.

Robert turns to Sarah for help with his GCSE’s and she makes time to visit his teachers.

Tricia apologises to Kathy for the blind date fiasco, but tells her not to interfere in her life again.

Zak makes up with Paddy and offers to take him to the pub. But the thought of seeing everyone eats at him and when he arrives at the door he turns tail and bolts.

And Marlon is employed to cook a slap-up meal for Chris and Charity – despite his reservations.

Seth finally confronts his attackers with some help from Betty and Ollie – and Angie arrives to arrest the pair.

Sarah is planning a day with Richie to celebrate his birthday but is upset when he says he has to go to work. And he drops another bombshell when he reveals he has to go away again and won’t be around for the custody hearing.

Kathy agrees to look after Jack’s kids while he’s at the custody hearing.

Cain is desperate to find out whom Charity is seeing. And Pollard offers to help Turner find some old numberplates for his antique motorbike.

The Sugden family is in turmoil when the custody hearing splits the family up.

And Jack is upset when he learns in court how Robert had visited Sarah for help deciding in his choice of GCSE subjects.

Betty can’t help but smile when she finds Seth has been out poaching again – a sign that things are back to normal.

Chris cancels a meal with Charity and asks Terry to take her instead. Viv is upset when Bob fails to show. Turner is forced to buy the motorbike plates from Pollard at a high price while the antiques rogue gives Sam the remains of the bike the came from. Marlon tries to persuade Chris to invest in a catering proposal.

Jack is devastated when he is forced to hand over Victoria to Sarah.

Sean and Zoe are infuriated at Lady Tara’s unexplained absence.

Charity enjoys a meal with Terry and tells him he’s got a lot going for him – but will he take that the wrong way?

Turner finds a rare part he’s missing for his motorbike on the remains of the bike Pollard gave to Sam. Pollard is annoyed when Turner does the deal with lucky Sam.

Viv is made up when Bob arrives and says he would like to stay the night. Seth arrives back in the Woolpack to a rousing cheer – and immediately sets about trying to sell Marlon some of his poached fish. And Bernice receives a call from her cousin asking for her help at his bar in Sorrento for a couple of weeks.
