The Reynolds It's the Easter Holidays, and Ollie is lounging about in her pyjamas watching cartoons. She and Angie have their customary row, then Supercop turns her attention to Sean. She asks him whether he's finished doing the garden and is he going to get his job back? Sean announces he's off to the haulage yard to shut her up. However, he spends the afternoon in the Woolie, pondering over the fact that Chris may know more about the dodgy truck than he's letting on. His conscience about the villagers' fate begins to prick him when Lisa mentions that the meeting on Thursday may spell the end of her business, then Kathy asks him to support the village against Chris. Lisa tries to point out that Sean standing up against Chris may not be a good thing, but Kathy feels that Chris' position in Tate Haulage would become untenable if Sean made him confess about the truck. Sean looks thoughtful. Later, Angie pops into the Woolie looking for Sean. Kathy collars her there, hinting that he may be about to speak out against Tate Haulage in the meeting on Thursday. Angie stomps off home, where Sean tells her that there are a lot of unanswered questions about the crash, and he owes it to the village to help them. Angie points out that the family should be his priority, and advises him to support the company line to guarantee a place on the board. When Sean mentions that Lisa could lose everything, Angie goes off on one, saying that the Dingles were thieves (yes, the same Dingles that saved *her* daughter's life) and that they don't owe them a thing. She leaves it for Sean to choose - conscience or family?? Sugdens While Jack and Andy are farming, Victoria is getting bored and wants some help in learning to ride a bike. Sarah persuades Robert to help her. He isn't keen at first, but later rushes to tell Jack & Andy that the stabilisers are no longer needed. Andy takes the piss, but Robert reminds him that they wouldn't be able to work if he didn't look after Victoria. Later, Jack mentions to Sarah how pleased he is that the boys have mucked in. Sarah is peeved that they get praise for a job she's been doing for years, with no thanks or recognition. She then asks Jack to take her to the village meeting, but Jack falls asleep on her. Dingles The episode opens with Nellie cooing that Zak is her "big man" and generally acting all soppy. It looks like Zak actually lost the plot and slept with Nellie the night before. While the viewers quietly retch, Zak makes a quick exit to ponder his next move. He goes off to see Belle, despite Ashley's misgivings. When Ashley tries to get him to talk about his problems, Zak tells him that the only person who can get him out of his mess is himself. After moping around for a while, Zak eventually agrees to a spot of poaching with Sets. Other stuff: -- Kathy is busy trying to get the Highways Committee to come to the meeting. Alan manages to pull some strings and introduces her to Councillor Eccleston. He agrees to attend the meeting. -- Alan resigns from his job at Home Farm. -- Frankie returns to Home Farm. ZoŽ tries to stand up against her, but turns into a doormat once more as Frankie bats her eyes and tells her how she wants to be with her. -- Bernice tells Tricia that she isn't interested in Ashley. Tricia goes to see Ashley and tells him to hang in there, as she's sure Bernice will change her mind as she gets over My Gavin. Ashley doesn't think that will happen, but reassures Tricia that he will get over her in time. Tricia responds by saying that she hopes she meets someone who loves her the way he loves Bernice. As she leaves the vicarage, Ashley starts to cry. Ends -- Dionne

Lisa Kathy and Alan are planning for the evening's meeting when a worried-looking Lisa arrives. Kathy reassures her that Sean will support her at the meeting but Lisa's not so sure. She's also convinced that Zak no longer loves her and that Nellie has taken her place in his heart. However, over at the Dingles', Zak is telling the family how he is worrying about Lisa and what she's going through. Later, Lisa goes to see Sean to tell him that she appreciates his support . However, Angie quickly gets rid of her and puts pressure on Sean to think of his job rather than his principles. Sarah & Richie Sarah isn't feeling up to attending the meeting but Jack assures her that he'll raise all the questions she wants answering and then asks Richie to look after her while he's gone. While Jack is at the meeting, Richie comes into Sarah's bedroom to tell her that he's moving out and may even leave the village as he can't stand being near her without being able to touch her. However, he soon starts trying to persuade her to resume their affair, telling her that he loves her and that she should follow her instincts. Realising just how strongly Richie feels for her, she tells him that she doesn't want him to go and they kiss. Elsewhere on the romance front - Bernice admits to Betty that Ashley has declared his love for her. - Marlon is unimpressed at Adam's cheesy chat-up lines to Tricia but it looks like she's fallen for the new vet in a big way. - Tate Haulage driver Mike flirts with Kelly over a drink in the Woolpack and Kelly lets Roy go to the meeting alone in favour of spending more time with Mike. The Tates Over at Home Farm, Frankie and Chris are getting back into their usual routine of good-natured sniping at each other. Frankie tells him that she's back for good and, upon Zoe's request, Chris agrees to be civil to her. Frankie wants to spend some time with Zoe but Zoe's suddenly remembered that she's supposed to be a vet and has work to do. Chris tells her to leave the preparations for the meeting to him - and then takes the opportunity to put into operation a plan that he knows wouldn't meet with Zoe's approval... The meeting Most of the village, along with the press, turn up for the meeting, although Seth is nowhere to be seen and the councillor who was supposed to attend hasn't arrived either. Chris, Laura, Zoe and Frankie arrive to a shout of 'murderer' from Cain and are clearly unnerved when Sean turns up. Kathy invites Emily to address the meeting and she tells them about her loss and tells Chris that she just wants to know why Butch died. Then Jack tells them about Sarah and Victoria's injuries before railing against the Tates and the way they put power and money before people. As Zak and Seth sneak into the meeting late, Kathy invites Sean to speak but she is shocked when he defends safety at Tate Haulage and places the blame on Lisa for not telling him that she hadn't finished servicing the lorry. Lisa tells the meeting that she warned Pete not to take the truck out but Chris accuses her of trying to put the blame on the dead man. Roy leaps to her defence but, when Chris questions him, he has to admit that he didn't hear Lisa warn Pete and no one can back up her story. Chris' attitude provokes anger from the other Dingles and, at this point, Chris gives a signal to two men who suddenly start causing trouble, attacking Lisa and manhandling Laura and Zoe. The meeting descends into violence and chaos, with one of the men punching Ashley and Ashley retaliating, just as the police arrive. Ashley is taken away by the police as Cain homes in on Chris and punches him in the face, while the press take photographs. Rachel
